Biology is the science of life.

The term was introduced in Germany and popularised by Jean Baptiste Lamarck the limits of the science have always been difficult to determine and the scope of biology has shifted over the years, its subject areas have been changed and reorganized, Today biology is subdivided into hierarchies based on the molecule, the cell, the organism, the population.

Molecular biology which spans biophysics, biochemistry has made the most fundamental contribution to modern biology. The discovery of the mechanism of heredity was a major break through in modern science. Cellular biology is closely linked with molecular biology. To understand the function of the cell, the basic structural unit of living matter - cell biologists study its components on the molecular level.

Biology also includes the study of human at the molecular, cellular and organismal level.

Our school has a well equipped Biology lab. It has been provided with all sorts of fully things that are required by students. The lab is fully equipped with charts, models, slides and micro scopes. Models of brain, heart, digestive systems are also there. For studying taxonomy of various flowers we have dissecting microscopes.

The lab is fully equipped with chemicals for bio-chemical and psychological studies. The lab have several permanent slides of cell Division for students to study. The lab has stains for the proparation of temporary slides.

Hence the lab of Career Convent Girls College is fully equipped to help the students realize the importance of biology.
